Can you tell us about the journey of Nectaro and how it became part of the Dyninno Group?

Dmitry: Establishing Nectaro was a natural progression in our business, particularly in the lending sector, where we've seen considerable success over the years. On one hand, we needed additional investments to grow our portfolio and expand into new markets. On the other hand, we wanted to offer investors the opportunity to share in our success. It's a win-win situation: we leverage our expertise while providing attractive investment opportunities.

What inspired you to create an investment platform specifically for millennials and the younger generation?

Sigita: We evaluate all our investors and act on their feedback to make our platform as inclusive as possible. Our market research identified a significant business opportunity and a chance to do something beneficial. Gen Z is entering the investment market differently than previous generations. They seek alternative investments as traditional paths like real estate are less accessible. This generation is highly financially literate, tech-savvy, and eager to learn. We aim to engage with these new investors early in their journey.

Dmitry: Additionally, our platform is very intuitive, requiring as little as 50 euros to start investing. Given their tech-native backgrounds, it’s a natural fit for young investors.

Considering the abundance of platforms in Europe, why was it important for Nectaro to obtain a license?

Dmitry: I think this goes very deep into how we structure the business and how I believe things should be managed. Obtaining a license aligns with our commitment to professionalism, reputation, and safety. It serves as a quality mark, regulated by the Central Bank of Latvia, providing additional assurance to our investors.

Sigita: Latvia's regulatory environment is one of the strictest in Europe. We view this as an opportunity to align with our core value of offering secure and reliable investments. Being based in Latvia, it was the right thing to do.

With many investment platforms on the market, how does Nectaro differentiate itself?

Sigita: One major differentiator is our licensing, which is uncommon in Europe. This allows us to offer more secure investments under MiFID regulations and other laws, prioritizing investor needs.

Dmitry: Our extensive experience in the lending business sets us apart. We know this sector well and have built our platform on the strong foundation of a larger group of companies, ensuring professional and financial support.

Sigita: I am proud of the team that we have in Nectaro. Our team comprises highly experienced professionals in lending and B2B sectors. Our strategy emphasizes investor education and responsiveness to their needs, which we can afford due to our robust team.

Nectaro opened to a wider audience on November 22nd last year. How do you rate your progress in the past seven months?

Sigita: Our progress has been excellent. We added a new market in January - Moldova, introduced features like Smart Reinvest, and responded to investor feedback by lowering minimum investments and increasing settlement amounts. We've also expanded our licensing to various European countries, currently, we have already included Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, and many more countries will follow, and surpassed significant milestones, such as over 1 million euros under investment and more than 4000 registered users.

Dmitry: In a nutshell, we've been very active in building the product and creating new opportunities. I believe the best is yet to come.

What are Nectaro’s plans for the next year or two?

Sigita: We’re focusing on technical improvements, such as adding features like Auto-Invest and a Refer-a-Friend program. Strategically, we aim to introduce new investment opportunities, including business loans and expanding to new countries like the Philippines. Long-term, we aspire to offer diverse investment opportunities across various financial instruments.

Dmitry: We aim to democratize investment, making it accessible even with small amounts, and ensure transparency and intuitiveness. New features and products will continually enhance the platform.

Can you share your personal investment experiences?

Dmitry: Personal investment strategies vary, and there's no right or wrong approach. My background in finance shapes my investments, primarily in P2P platforms and US stocks, where I see dynamic opportunities. Real estate is another area, though it’s more situational. The key is to do something and align it with your goals and risk appetite.

Sigita: I’m a strong advocate of P2P investment platforms due to their low fees, low entry barriers, and transparent investment journeys. They also help distribute capital from developed to developing countries, a topic I explored in my MBA thesis. Real estate is another area of interest, though recent market conditions have been challenging. However, I believe in market cycles and remain optimistic.
