We’re excited to share that Dmitry Tsymber, Founder and Board Member at Nectaro, took the stage at Gada Investors 2024 to present the “Industry Supporter of the Year” award — a highlight of an event that’s all about celebrating impact, progress, and the future of investing in Latvia.
This annual gathering is more than just a ceremony. It’s a chance to shine a light on the people and organizations working hard to build something bigger — a trustworthy, inclusive investment landscape that empowers everyone to get involved and grow.
This year’s Gada Investors ceremony, held on May 16 at the Riga Circus, brought together the most influential players in Latvia’s venture and private capital ecosystem. Organized by the Latvian Private and Venture Capital Association (LVCA) and the Latvian Business Angel Network (LatBAN), the event honored outstanding achievements in investment and entrepreneurship.
Award categories included:
- Investment of the Year: Merger of Printful and Printify into Fyul
- Exit of the Year: Sale of Stebby to Livonia Partners
- Financial Advisor of the Year: Baltic Partners for consulting on the management buyout of SIA Mobilly
- Legal Advisor of the Year: COBALT Legal
- Sustainability Award: ZGI Capital for their investment in Electrify
- Best Syndicated Investment: ASP Asset Management AIFP for their investment in Cellbox Labs
- Business Angel of the Year: Girts Licis
- Industry Supporter of the Year: Awarded to UniLab, Riga Technical University (RTU), Riga Stradins University (RSU), the Student Council of LBTU, and the University of Latvia for supporting early-stage startup development
- Special Porsche Latvia Award: ZGI Capital
The evening was not only a recognition of success but a reminder of the shared effort behind building a strong, sustainable future for the investment landscape. Among the notable guests were Latvia’s Ministers of Economy, Finance, and Justice, along with Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Victor Fedeli.
Looking back on the event, one message came through loud and clear: it takes more than money to build a real investment culture. It takes access to knowledge, transparency, and a space where people feel safe and supported in taking ownership of their financial lives.
